Baileyville’s Octoberfest is in full swing, with this Saturday set as the big “parade day.”

The parade line-up begins at 10 a.m., with its procession from the town office to Main Street at 11 a.m.  Octoberfest organizer Jamie Bohanon has been chosen by the committee to lead the parade as Grand Marshal.

Bohanon said those wishing to participate in the parade can join the line-up with no pre-registration required.  There are cash prizes for best-decorated floats, ranging in amounts of $100 to $250.
