Public Hearing Held Regarding Planned Reduction of Hours at Vanceboro Crossing

On Tuesday, July 5, 2022, inside the Vanceboro Community Center, citizens of Vanceboro, Maine and McAdam, New Brunswick met with a panel of spokespersons from U.S Customs and Border Protection (CBP).

The public hearing was called to discuss the planned reduction of hours to the Vanceboro border crossing. Vanceboro’s board of selectmen appointed Representative Jeffrey Evangelos (I-Friendship) as the moderator for the hearing.  Senator Marianne Moore (R-Calais) and Representative Kathy Javner (R-Chester) were also present.
