In 2013, the Wabanaki Tribes of Maine, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) National Marine Fisheries Service, and the U.S. Bureau of Indian Affairs made a commitment to restoring and preserving the Skutik/St. Croix River watershed.
