Enemies Foreign and Domestic II
Jon Reisman
“I will support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic…”- Oath of Office/Allegiance
Last week I followed the seldom-followed Biden transparency dictum by detailing my own implicitly biased list of foreign enemies that federal office holders, military service members and new citizens take an oath to defend the Constitution against. This week I detail those I believe should be the on the domestic enemies of the Constitution list. Once again, remember that “enemies”, like “equity” is in the eye of the beholder. I am fairly confident that any member of a group on my list would feel exactly the same about me.
Domestic Enemies
The National Education Association/Maine Education Association
The NEA/MEA is directly responsible for:
• The poor quality of many of our urban public schools because of their opposition to school choice and parental control of education;
• The continued closure of many of our public schools to live instruction;
• The injection of poisonous critical race theory in to the public schools;
• The promotion and support of socialist policies and referenda in Maine to tax the rich and grow the state.
Advocates of Critical Race Theory, “Anti-Racism” and the Systemic Racism Lie
The Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and our laws call for equality of opportunity, equal protection, the rule of law, and forbid discrimination based on race. Advocates for CRT, “anti-racism” and the systemic racism lie do exactly the opposite. They argue for equality of outcome, unequal protection of the law, mob rule, jury intimidation and explicit racial discrimination (preferences for BIPOC/LGBTQ and discrimination against whites, especially white males, most especially if they voted for Trump or had the temerity to publicly disagree with any so-called “social justice” advocate).
Lying BLM Racism advocates claim that failing to affirm their agenda is to endorse systemic racism and that “silence is violence”. I detest what the left is doing to our country, but I agree that silence in the face of perceived tyranny is unacceptable. I will use my voice, creator endowed rights and so called “white privilege” to expose, confront and defeat this poisonous ideology that hates our country and apparently me.
Big Tech and Legacy Media
Facebook, Twitter, Google, CNN, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, ABC, PBS, NPR, The New York Times, The Washington Post
The very people and institutions who once defended freedom of speech and inquiry have become such an ideological monoculture that they have convinced themselves that their job is to mold public opinion and policy, not to report and let the people decide for themselves. Ronald Reagan used to joke about how “I’m from the Government and I’m here to help you” was such a falsehood. Just replace Government with “legacy media” or “Big Tech” and the cynical reality should increase by an order of magnitude.
Congress Critter and Executive Branch Rogues Gallery
Adam Schiff (leaking and lying), Maize Hirono (elevating misandry and stupidity to new heights), Maxine Waters (jury intimidation, incitement), Sheldon Whitehouse (climate alarmism, attacking the 1st Amendment, threatening the Supreme Court), Ilhan Omar (anti-semitism, hating America), Rashida Talib (anti-semitism, hating America), Eric Swalwell (lying, leaking, treason, flipped by the Chinese Communist Party), Kamala Harris (power hungry hypocrite) and Joe Biden (senescent and dedicated left wing culture warrior/flame thrower). I hope cancel culture Karma comes their way.
