The Eastport Area Chamber of Commerce has designed reusable shopping totes made from 100 percent recycled water bottles.

“During the winter when Maine put into law that plastic bags would be banned starting April 1st, I thought the Chamber could design a bag that would promote Eastport using art that the Tides Institute commissioned for the Salmon Festival a few years back,” said Lisa Stephens, of Sweeties Downeast.
