Calais City Council Swears in New Councilor

Kaileigh Deacon

Former Councilor Bill Cody announced at the end of the summer that he would be leaving the city council as he was relocating from Calais. Prior to his leaving, the council met with the prospective candidates to fill his seat, and after the executive session meeting, the council named William Quinn as Cody’s successor. Quinn ran for one of the two vacant seats at last year’s election, losing in votes to Cody and Mark Carr.
