Teens ages 13 to 16 are invited to attend a fun night designed just for them on Friday, July 19, at the elementary school.  This event is hosted by the recently-established Calais Youth Outreach Committee and will take place from 7 to 9 p.m.  On the agenda are board games, a bounce house, gaming stations, and more. Be sure to follow the outreach group on Facebook to keep up to date with planned events.

This Saturday morning, July 20, is the nature walk at the Moosehorn.  This is a guided nature walk sponsored by Friends of Moosehorn, Fundy Audubon, and Maine Master Naturalist. The walk begins at 9 a.m., and those participating can meet at the upper parking lot. For more information, contact Bill at 207-904-7023 or visit the Moosehorn Friends or Refuge Facebook pages for updates on events and wildlife sightings

Don’t miss the food sale at St. Anne’s Episcopal Church at 29 Church Street on Saturday, July 27.  This will run from 8 a.m. to noon.

Before you know it, the annual Robbinston Days will be here.  This year’s festivities take place on Saturday, August 3.  The day will be chock-full with music, food, games, touch-a-truck, history exhibits, and lots more.  Learn more on Facebook by following Robbinston Day.

The annual children’s Peanut Fair is set to take place on Wednesday, August 7, and the PTO is asking for assistance in running the games, food table, and prize table.  If you can volunteer an hour or two, contact Calais PTO or Tomi Ellsmore on Facebook.

Send me your news, your shout-outs for good deeds done, or your well wishes to give, and I’ll be sure to share them here. Until next week, I hope you stay well, stay safe, and be happy.
