Calais Fire-EMS responded to a structure fire at 98 Lafayette Street on Saturday afternoon.
According to Fire Chief Ken Clark, the homeowner called the fire department directly to report the fire.  “We would like to remind people to please call 911 in the event of an emergency,” Clark mentioned.
