St. Stephen, N.B., known as Canada’s chocolate town for its claim of creating the world’s first chocolate bar, just got sweeter, thanks to a new downtown candy store.  Candy Creations opened this week at 184 Milltown Boulevard.

Owner Cathy Cairns said she started making candy about 35 years ago.  “I went into a bulk food store and these beautiful candy Christmas trees were sitting on the shelf.  I asked the owner to explain to me how she made them and that’s where my journey began making candy.”
