Move it or Lose it: Sittercize Helping Women Stay Fit

It’s no secret that physical activity and exercise are good for you, with numerous studies proving the associated health benefits.  As we age, it becomes even more important.  This is why Sally Doten began offering free sittercise classes about one year ago to women over 60.  

“I went over [to Calais Regional Hospital] and talked to Kris Mesman at physical therapy and asked what we could do.  She thought it would be good to just move,” Doten explained, adding, “After 60, you need to move.”
