Kayleigh Scott Receives MPA Principal’s Award

Kayleigh Scott, a senior at Calais High School, has been selected to receive the 2025 Principal’s Award, Principal Dean A. Preston announced last week. The award, sponsored by the Maine Principals’ Association, is given in recognition of a high school senior’s academic achievement and citizenship.

“It is my great honor to present Kayleigh Scott with the 2025 Principal’s Award. This recognition is a testament to her dedication, hard work, and positive impact on our school community,” Preston said. “Kayleigh exemplifies the values of leadership, perseverance, and excellence, serving as a role model for peers and demonstrating a commitment to both academic and personal growth. We are incredibly proud of her and look forward to seeing all that she will accomplish in the future.”
