Maine Indian Education/Wabanaki Culture Center, in partnership with the Maine Tourism Association, is proud to present the Wicukems Shelf at the culture center.

The shelf – named “Wicukems,” meaning “help yourself” in Passamaquoddy – provides a welcoming space for anyone facing food insecurity to take non-perishable items, no questions asked.
