Pastor Bobby Oliver of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #9779 has announced that Jonna Travis is this year’s winner of the local Voice of Democracy competition. 

Every year, local students take part in the VFW-sponsored VOD youth essay competitions, an audio-essay contest for high school students in grades 9 through 12, and Patriot’s Pen for students in grades 6, 7, and 8.
