Calais United Methodist Church, located at 849 Main Street, welcomes all to visit its new free lending library.

Reading lovers will find the book locker located right outside the covered entrance of the church.  Anyone who would like to borrow a book can stop by any time, day or night.

So far, there are different genres from children’s books to adult fiction.  There are even a few cookbooks and daily devotional books.
