The 19 historic stained-glass windows at Pleasant Point’s St. Ann Church will be removed and placed in storage, according to a press release from the Roman Catholic Diocese of Portland.  The windows depict saints, along with Native American symbols and figures on some.

An agreement for the removal and preservation of the windows was signed by Bishop Robert P. Deeley, of the Maine diocese, and tribal Chief Marla Dana.
