A student at Woodland High School has been elected to the Maine National Honor Society executive board as its secretary.  That student, junior Sierra Bryant, was chosen at the state convention on Tuesday, March 16.

Perry Fire Chief Paula Frost Retires After Many Years of Service

On Tuesday, April 6th Paula Frost stepped down from her position as Chief of the Perry Volunteer Fire Department.

After leading the department as chief for the past 25 years, she has decided to hang up her airpack for the last time.

“I joined the Perry Fire Department in 1988,” said Frost. “In the early days, women were not allowed to be on some departments. I was always interested in a challenge.”
