Our community has joined together to help three-year-old GFPD warrior Nova Downing.  

Nova was diagnosed with Peroxisomal Acyl-CoA Oxidase Deficiency in June 2020. This disorder causes deterioration of nervous system function, or neurodegeneration, beginning in infancy.  Babies with Peroxisomal Acyl-CoA Oxidase Deficiency tend to have weak muscle tone, seizures, and other medical complications.
