The Classic Hits Turkey-a-Thon was held last Friday, and it once again proved a successful event, bringing in nearly $35,000, the largest amount in the program’s 15 years.

The set goal of this year’s Turkey-a-Thon, according to Healthy Acadia’s Food Programs Manager Regina Grabrovac, was 2,500 turkeys.  That number was the amount brought in in 2018.  With the cost to provide one turkey being $12, a total amount of $30,000 was hoped for.
