Princeton Parks and Recreation Plants & Pastries

Sandra Smith

Saturday was the Princeton Parks & Rec’s Second Annual Plants & Pastries Day at the Princeton Public Library. By the time of the start of the event, there were three tables full of donated home-baked items. Members were helped by many others who generously baked and brought in their own specialties. There were many kinds of cookies, cakes, breads, and some fudge. The most popular was whoopie pies, which were all gone early, much to the disappointment of three gentlemen. However, they did manage to find treats.
