Church Seeks Donations to Restore Broken Window

As Ann Montgomery reported in the Oct. 24th edition of The Calais Advertiser, a window at the Sewall Memorial Congregational Church on Route 1 in Robbinston suffered severe damage recently. The broken stained glass window resulted from the Nor’easter that battered most of the state on Oct. 17th.

The window, one of three south-facing windows, according to Montgomery, “was sucked out by the storm’s fierce winds.” Now, members of the congregation are seeking donations to help with the restoration and repair.
